Pakistan Independence Day 2014

Independence Day is observed every year on 14th August in Pakistan. Recalling the historical day of 14th August 1947, when Pakistan was declared as independent state in the world, following the end of British Raj.

This was all made possible by struggles of Muslims living in the region. They run a movement called Pakistan Movement in the leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah aiming of independent Muslim state.  After years of hard time, there came a day when Pakistan appeared as independent state on the map of world.

Pakistan Independence Day is a national holiday Pakistan. The day is celebrated by raising Pakistan National Flag on all important buildings in country and even on houses.
