Abdul Sattar Edhi’s 89th Birthday – Google Doodle

Google honoured Late Abdul Sattar Edhi on his 89th birthday with a Doodle on the Google search page.
Edhi will be remembered as a person who helped people in the time of need. He established ‘Edhi Foundation’ in 1951, funded by private donations. The foundation provides social services to people without service charges, mainly focused on welfare of needy people.
Edhi spent whole life working for the Foundation to provide comforts to others than himself. He spent a very simple life.
Edhi died on 8 July 2016 at the age of 88 due to kidney failure.
